If you’ll be in the Bay Area tomorrow evening (Saturday, May 5), I encourage you to check out Medium: Motherhood in Alameda. Surrounded by Christine Ferrouge’s art opening at Autobody Fine Art, three great writers will give readings: poet Roxane Beth Johnson and novelists Nina LaCour and Laura Joyce Davis. They’ve won a slew of prestigious awards, with good reason. I’m sorry to miss it, but I hope you’ll drop by and say hi to them for me. Doors at 6 p.m., reading at 7.
